Q – What is a Pallet Party?

A – The best way to describe it is like Painting on Canvas.   But instead of using canvas we use wood signs.  You decide what design you’d like to create ahead of time and we will help you make it while you’re at the party.  You get to take your creation home with you after the party!

Q – How many people can we have at a party?

A – Head count does not matter. You have to have 10 pallets purchased for us to travel to you in Jackson County. If you are outside of Jackson County a minimum of 15 pallets need to be purchased.

Q – Where are the parties held?

A – Currently due to Covid -19 Parties are held only at a location of your choice.

Q – How much does it cost?

A – Depending on the size and style of the sign you choose, prices range from $25 and up.

Q – Is this only for adults?

A – No! We have smaller signs that are perfect for children if they attend an adult's Pallet Party.  

Q – Are there any benefits for the hostess?

A – For parties with at least 10 guests(in Jackson County) or 15 guests (outside of Jackson County)  (in addition to the hostess), the hostess will get a $25 credit towards the design of her choice.  The credit is a “Thank You” from Pallets by Design for all of the hostess’ work following up with party guests and ensuring that all of your orders are in on time! 

Q – How do we book a date?

In order to book a party, you will be required to pay a deposit which WILL be refunded at the completion of the party. If you do not meet the minimum of 10 people (not including the hostess), your party will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited. If at least 5 orders are not submitted ONE WEEK prior to your party, we reserve the right to cancel your party and your deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel the party for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited.

Q – How do we choose which pallet to make?

A – Designs available for your party will be provided within the link that was shared with you by your party host.

Q – How do we make our selection?

A – You will need to pre-order your selection by purchasing it on our website.  Please pay close attention to the details in the listing for what you will need to include in your order, as many signs are customized with names or dates.  

Q – What if we don’t like any of the options?

A – If you want to create something that you don’t see on the website. you should select the Custom Design option listed in your party and we can work together to create something you will love.  Take a look at Pinterest and other websites for ideas and we can help you customize your sign. Keep in mind that we may not be able to get your design exactly as the picture you have found because of copyrights or time constraints for the party.

Q – Can we have a customized party?

A – Yes!  We can customize your options if there is a particular theme or sign that your party would like to create.

Q-Do you need to pick colors ahead of time?

A- No. We have every color you can imagine!

Q- Can we do any other sizes than what is listed?

A- Please contact us to arrange this and to get pricing before ordering.

Q – Why do we have to preorder?

A – Every stencil is made to order.  This means that we must have enough time to print the stencils for the whole party before you arrive.  This is very important to ensure that your party is a success!  This is part of the hostess’ responsibility to make sure that all orders are in and to keep in contact with the Pallets by Design representative.

Q – How do we pay for our sign?

A – You will pay on the website by pre-ordering your selection.  Once you pay for your sign, the stencil will be printed.

Q – What is the deadline to pre-order?

A – The deadline is one week prior to your party.

Q – What if I already ordered but can’t make it? Can I get a refund on my sign?

A – Unfortunately, there are no refunds for Pallet Parties.  However, we can make arrangements to make your sign for you and you can pick it up at our location.

Q – How do we create our pallet sign?

A – Pallets by Design will provide a pre-printed stencil and all the supplies you'll need.  You will be given all the instruction needed to create your one-of-a-kind sign!

Q-Do we need to have experience?

A- No. We will teach you everything you need to know to create a beautiful piece.

Q- What do I need to wear?

A- We have aprons in the studio, but please remember that we are using PAINT and that means it could get on you!

Q- How long does the party take?

A- This depends on your group. The average is about 2-3 hours.

Q – Can we bring food and drinks to the party?

A – ABSOLUTELY!  There will be time between painting the base coat and painting the design when you can chat and snack.  Feel free to bring food for your guests or arrange a potluck with your group.
